Here are 6 more Awesome websites for actors!  If you didn’t catch my first post a while back click here.

New Play Exchange

Here’s one of the best ways to discover new plays and playwrights!  Record and save a career’s worth of thinking about the theater and you can actually champion the work you love.  The Reader level membership is only 10 bucks a year and you can:

•    Create a personal profile
•    Build a watchlist of readers and writers
•    Perform advanced, filtered searches
•    Write recommendations of plays
•    Record private script evaluations
•    Save searches
•    Contact playwrights

Without a Box

This is the site the film industry uses for submissions to film festivals.  Get creative and make things happen in your career by producing your own projects.  Did you know there are tons of film festivals with “student” categories?  Register and search for free!  Such an awesome website for actors to get inspired.

Dallas Travers’ TAC

This is one of my favorite sites for actors–I have linked to Dallas’ blog called Acting Business Bites.  You could spend weeks on here enjoying all the wonderful, free content for actors.

Did you know you can get access to equity theater casting calls nationwide?  Use their site to search by city or region.  You may attend equity calls if you are not in the union–you might just have to be prepared to wait for a slot.  (Sometimes allll day, but you might just get in!)
